You will explore how to create video scripts, voiceovers, subtitles, and edit videos using Python. Throughout this resource, you'll be guided through the following key objectives: understanding how to find and use your OpenAI and AssemblyAI API keys, learn to use the API keys in Python to generate scripts and voiceovers, and exploring the MoviePy library, a Python library for video editing.
By the end of this guide, you'll emerge equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to create simple videos using AI and Python.
This workshop is a resource associated with the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) public workshop for AI Script and Voiceover Generation Using Python.
Note: this workshop may be of greater value for those with an intermediate level of programming knowledge, but it is not required.
