Graduate Student Mental Health and the Role of Faculty Advisors

Please join us for a special conversation with Provost Carl Lejuez on graduate student mental health. This session will discuss the advisor/advisee relationship, its relationship to student success and well-being, and how to support a student who seems to be struggling. The session will address what questions a GPD or advisor can/should ask and next steps given the answers a student provides. Lejuez will also discuss what graduate students want faculty to know about difficulties they encounter and the ways in which support from advisors and programs can transform students’ experiences.
