The National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) is a nationally competitive award that funds outstanding students in NSF-supported STEM disciplines to pursue a research-based Master's or PhD programs.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Current juniors who will have their first opportunity to apply as graduating seniors during Fall 2025, incoming first-year graduate students, and current first-year graduate students who did not apply in the 2024 application cycle.
