Dr. Andrea Ward is a Professor of Biology and the Associate Provost of Research and Special Projects at Adelphi University. Dr. Ward is an active teacher-scholar, publishing with undergraduate and graduate students on evolutionary and functional morphology in vertebrates. She is the PI on a Track 2 S-STEM grant from the National Science Foundation. She received her PhD in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Chicago where she was supported by an NIH NRSA grant.
