The Stony Brook Baroque Players are proud to present its annual Spring concert featuring the cream of the crop of graduate students from the renowned Stony Brook music department. On both period and modern instruments, we have some delightful surprises in store for you including a concerto by Telemann for two double basses, winds and strings, as well as some lively dances from England and France. And as a special treat, we go beyond the Baroque period showcasing our fortepiano - a replica of a piano that Mozart might have played. We will play a 4-hand piano sonata of Mozart as well as the famed Shepherd on the Rock aria for soprano, clarinet, and piano. This is a first for Long Island and should not be missed. You are in for a real treat!
