Join us in celebrating Women's History Month 2024 with the Women's Empowerment and Self-Care Mini Sessions.
The session will explore women's historical role in healthcare and review where we are today. Women have been central to the development and advancement of healthcare throughout history. From ancient healers and midwives to modern nurses, doctors, therapists, researchers, administrators, and various other health professionals, women have played crucial roles in providing care, conducting groundbreaking research, advocating for public health, and shaping healthcare policies. Despite facing barriers and discrimination, women have persistently contributed to improving healthcare outcomes, championing patient rights, and promoting equitable access to health services worldwide. Today, their influence continues to drive innovation and progress in healthcare.
