Join us on Saturday, September 28, 12-4 p.m. for CommUniversity Day, a free, family-friendly festival style event that showcases the many facets of the campus community through hands-on activities and entertainment. The event will be held on the Stony Brook University Academic Mall. 

Show your creativity and love of community by participating in the inaugural CommUniversity Day LEGO® Competition. LEGO enthusiasts are invited to build a LEGO creation that exemplifies their vision of community. The top three creations that best express the idea of community will win great prizes, including SBU gear and LEGO sets.

You can also donate LEGOs to support our exploratory tent, where we will use them for fun, hands-on activities to learn about science, technology, engineering and math. And, we are collecting small appliances such as laptops, hair dryers and toasters for our “Appliance Autopsy” where we will dismantle the appliances to understand how they work.
